Dr.Öğretim ÜyesiZehra DOĞAN SÖZÜERHead of DepartmentZehra Doğan Sözüer was born in Ankara in 1985 and graduated from Gazi University, Department of Fashion Design Education in 2007. She graduated from Clothing Industry and Clothing Arts Education Master's Program in 2011 and received the title of Philosophy in Art from Haliç University Institute of Social Sciences Textile and Fashion Design Department in 2014. She started her first academic assignment in Istanbul as a Research Assistant in 2009, developed her applications and first works on illustration, drawing and design during this four-year period and still, teaching at Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile and Fashion Design as a Faculty Member. Doğan- Sözüer’s field of study is to examine the relationship of textile techniques with different visual art disciplines on fabric surface manipulations and collage. Her thesis was on The Development Of Contemporary Turkish Fashion and she takes part in contemporary art spaces in contemporary art exhibitions in this field. She mainly gives the courses that are subject to undergraduate, graduate and Proficiency in Art levels are Fashion Design Project, Development of Contemporary Turkish Fashion, Advanced Fabric Surface Design and Fabric Pattern Design courses. In addition, there are many publications and presentations that examine the issues of textile and its relationship with contemporary art.

Prof.Dr.Fatma Çiçek DERMANProf. Dr. Fatma Çiçek Derman, who graduated from Istanbul Kız Lisesi (girls high school) and Istanbul University Faculty of Literature, Department of Art History, worked as a lecturer at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts from 1985 until 2012. She earned the title of associate professor in 1996 and professor in 2002 with her thesis titled "The Change of Illumination Art in the Centuries". She served as the Faculty Dean and the founding chairman of the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts and the Department of Illumination-Miniature. Between 1963-1965, she worked at Istanbul University, Department of Medical History and Deontology, as the assistant of Ord. Prof. Dr. A. Süheyl Ünver. She learned art of illumination from Süheyl Ünver, Muhsin Demironat and Rikkat Kunt and was entitled to a professional license (icâzet) in 1982. In 1981, upon receiving invitations, she tried to show the subtleties of her art by opening exhibitions in Genéve (Switzerland), London (England) and Milan (Italy). Her first solo exibition was held in Chicago in 1987 within the Exibition of Magnificent Sultan Süleyman, which was organized by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture. She presented papers by participating in international congresses, symposiums and panels on the art of illumination. She has had many exibitions both in Turkey and abroad. In 2003, which was declared as the Turkish Year in Japan, Prof. Derman and her husband Prof. Uğur Derman were invited by East Asia (Toua) University to introduce their art through exhibitions and conferences. Prof Derman worked as "Higher Art Education Competencies Workgroup Member" under the Higher Education Council of Turkey Higher National Qualifications Framework (TYUYÇ). She was art consultant on the preparation of Great Turkish Dictionary of Kubbealtı. She is also included among the authors of the TDV Islam Encyclopedia. Since 2015, she has been giving postgraduate courses in Marmara and Halic Universities Fine Arts Faculties. She is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees of 29 Mayis University and the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Halic University. Prof.Dr.F.Çiçek Derman, received the Culture and Arts Grand Award from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture And Tourism in 2012. She also received the 7th TASAM Strategic Vision Award in 2013. Her books include: Motifs in Turkish Decorative Arts (İstanbul, 1991) Kadıasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi Hilyesi (İstanbul, 2011) Rikkat Kunt Hoca Hanım (İstanbul, 2013)

He completed his master's degree in `` Textile as Art '' and his proficiency in art in 1998 in the same school. 1989-2005 He prepared garment collections for different brands in men's clothing manufacturing companies for export to European countries, with the title of designer, as a consultant, collection coordinator, fashion marketing departments. worked. In 2006, Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile and Fashion Department, as a lecturer. He started to work as a member, and in 2016, he is still continuing the same position at Haliç University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile and Fashion Department. In the field of textile design education, she teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctorate courses such as computer-aided print design, pattern, surface design, portfolio and presentation, fashion marketing, luxury brand, and works as a thesis advisor. He has held personal exhibitions, participated in national and international group exhibitions, and his articles have been published.

Öğr.Gör.Müzeyyen Yeşim YORULMAZYeşim Yorulmaz, born in Istanbul in 1977, she have a two children. She studied undergraduate and graduate studies at Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department. She is doing Proficiency in Art at Kocaeli University Institute of Social Sciences, Plastic Arts Department. She has been working as a lecturer at Haliç University Faculty of Engineering Department of Interior Architecture, 2003-2008 at Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design since 2001-2003 and Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts since 2008. She has participated in many national and international symposiums and has personal and group exhibitions.

Öğr.Gör.Sultan ERDOĞANShe graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Textile Department in 2004, and completed her master degree in Marmara University Fine Arts Institute in 2008 with the thesis "Comparison of velvet from past to present in terms of fabric structure". While working in the textile industry, she also lectured as a lecturer at Kocaeli University between 2004-2005 and at Istanbul Aydın University between 2006-2007. She started to work as a Textile and Fashion Design Research Assistant at Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2007Since 2011, she has been lecturing both at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design and Vocational School. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Fashion Design, Fashion Design I-II, Free Design Workshop I-II, Knitwear Design, Home Textile. She continues her academic and art life with national and international symposiums, group exhibitions and workshops.

Öğr.Gör.Nilşen SÜNTER EROĞLUNilşen sünter eroğlu was born in 1986 in İzmir. She graduated from Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Engineering, Textile Engineering. She started her master's degree in Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Textile Engineering and graduated in 2011 with her thesis subject "Investigation of production methods and properties of conductive yarns". She has gained private sector experience as Production Engineer and Customer Representative in various textile companies. She continues her academic career as a lecturer at Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile and Fashion Design department as of 2014. She continues her phd thesis in Marmara University Textile Engineering Department and conducts a scientific research project within the scope of education. She has participated in many national and international symposiums and also has articles published in many databases such as Web of Science and Scopus.

Öğr.Gör.Elvin EROLShe was born in 1982 in Bolu. She graduated from Bakırköy high school. She has been working as a Lecturer at Haliç University, Department of Textile and Fashion Design since 2014. She studied for a year at Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department in 2006. The subject of her thesis is Star Motif in Stone Works of the Anatolian Selçuk Period. She completed her master's degree in Haliç University Textile and Fashion Design Department in 2013. Master's thesis Ottoman Wedding Ceremonies and Wedding Dresses. Haliç University continues to the Art Proficiency Program in Textile and Fashion Design. She won the first prize in 2012 with three different jewelry works in the İpekyol jewelry competition. She participated in national and international group exhibitions and symposiums. She worked as a designer in textile companies between 2006 and 2012.

Teknik Uzmanİkbal ÇETİNAfter completing her associate degree in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Vocational School Clothing Production Technology Department, she completed her undergraduate education at Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. She completed her master's degree in 2018 at Haliç University Institute of Social Sciences, Textile and Fashion Design Program with the thesis subject "Innovation and Surrealism in the Relationship between Art and Dress Fashion". She continues her studies for PHD. Çetin, who received the training certificate of the "Computer Modeling (Gerber V8)" Program from İsmek Educational Institution, also has an article published on her thesis topic. As of 2012, she has been working as a Technical Specialist at Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design.

Teknik UzmanCandan TULGACandan Tulga was born in 1992 in Istanbul. In the year 2011 she started ışık university for a major in fashion and textile design with a full scholarship. In the year 2013 Candan Tulga worked as a design assistant in Adler Jewelery in London. In 2014 she entered the second Tigsad under garments contest and was in the final and won the third place award. She graduated her university in 2015 in second place in her department. In 2017 she entered the fifth Denib Homewear and Beachwear Garments Design Contest and was in the final and won the first place award. In the year 2018 she started London College of Fashion, MA FDT Womenswear program and completed her master in 2019.

She got her PHD degree from Marmara University, Institute of Turkic Art, Program of Turkish Art, and her thesis subject is "Animal Figures with Mythological Themes in Turkish Architectural Decorative Arts" She has directed many Masters and Proficiency in Art theses. Her administrative duties are the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Editorial Board Member of the University Refereed Journal, the Editor of the University Newspaper, the Library Directorate, the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports, the Head of the Graphic Design Department. She has many articles and seminars published in Turkey and abroad. She has scientific board membership in congresses and referee duties in refereed journals. She received the title of associate professor from the Interuniversity Comitee in 2020.

She also graduated from the same university's master program in Department of Carpet-Rug Ancient and Fabric Patterns. She received the title of Proficiency in Art by graduating from Haliç University Institute of Social Sciences, Textile and Fashion Design Department. She started his academic career at Işık University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Fashion and Textile Design. As of 2015, She has been working as the Head of the Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile and Fashion Design program in our university. She has taught many undergraduate and postgraduate project lectures and directed postgraduate theses. She participated in national and international symposiums and individual-group exhibitions. She published her book "Fabric and Surface Design in Textile and Fashion Design" in 2019. She was a jury member in the 6th DENİB Home and Beachwear Design Competition. In 2018, she received an award in the "Special Category Academics" category in the Bleaching Process Project with the Environmentally Friendly New Generation Boron Compound at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Environment Awards.

Öğr.Gör.Fatma KAYA(Part Time)She was born in 1984 in Iğdır. After completing her high school education, she settled in Istanbul. In 2010, she entered Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile Arts. In 2011, she started the Ceramic and Glass Department with the Double Major Program of the same faculty. She graduated from the school in the first place in 2014. In 2015, she successfully completed her education in the Ceramics and Glass Department with the Double Major Program. In 2015, she started her graduate program in the Textile Department of the same faculty. In 2019, she completed the Master's program and started the Proficiency in Art program in the Textile and Fashion Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Before starting higher education, she worked as a designer and manager in many textile companies. She took part in many exhibitions, workshops, competitions and social projects throughout her education and professional life. Since 2016, she has been working as a lecturer at various universities, especially Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts.
